ELECTRONIC DIGITAL IMAGES (EDI)

IMAGE SIZE REQUIRMENTS

For EDI sections of our club competitions, including the NPF competitions, the MAXIMUM image size is 1024 pixels wide (horizontal) and 768 pixels high (vertical) when the image is viewed in its correct orientation.

The examples below show some images that are acceptable and some that are not.

EXAMPLE 1

This image is acceptable because:

(1) It has the correct pixel dimensions (1024x768)

(2) The file size is less than 700KB

(3)The file name is in the correct format.

EXAMPLE 2

This image is acceptable because:

(1) Its pixel dimensions (973x768) are less than the maximum permitted.

(2) The file size is less than 700KB

(3)The file name is in the correct format.

EXAMPLE 3

This image is acceptable because:

(1) Its pixel dimensions (471x768) are less than the maximum permitted.

(2) The file size is less than 700KB

(3)The file name is in the correct format.

EXAMPLE 4

This image is NOT acceptable because its pixel dimensions (1156x768) are greater than the maximum permitted.

EXAMPLE 5

This image is NOT acceptable because is pixel dimensions (638x1024) are greater than the maximum permitted.

NOTE: Even though this is a "portrait" image, its height can be no more than 768 pixels.

EXAMPLE 6

This image is NOT acceptable because the file size is greater than 700KB.

EXAMPLE 7

This image is NOT acceptable because the file name is not in the correct format.

NOTE: Before being sent to the judge, the images are all sorted by file name and transferred to a single CD. If you file names are not correct it is difficult for the jude to match your images with the details on your entry form.
