MONTHLY COMPETITION

Club meetings are held at the Belmont 16 Ft Sailing Club on the third Wednesday of each month from January to November (usually in the auditorium). Guests and prospective members are welcome at all meetings.

At the January to October meetings there is a round of the Monthly Competition. In November the "Image of the Year" competition is held (this was previously known as the PASOTY - Print And Slide Of The Year.)

Entries in the EDI round are to be submitted by 7pm on the competition night in the PREVIOUS month, and preferably at least 3 days before to allow for checking of entries.

For the January to October competitions, entries and a completed entry form must be submitted by 7.00pm on the night of the competition.

The Club meeting commences at 7.30pm with a brief report by the Chairman.

Judging commences immediately after the Chairman's report.

The monthly competitions have the following sections:

Colour prints (each month).

Monochrome prints (February, April, June, August, October only).

Nature prints (January, March, May, July, September only).

Small prints (each month)

Open EDI (each month).

In April and August the print sections (monochrome, colour and small prints) have a SET SUBJECT. Refer to the Monthly Programme link on the left for details.

For the club competitions all memebrs are graded (either A or B Grade). .

Please follow the links on the left for additional information including detailed definitions and special requirements for each competition category. It is very important that your competition entries comply with the Club rules.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE HAVE BEEN SOME CHANGES TO THE RULES FOR 2011.
