Photography experience:
I have been playing with photography from childhood. When I married Colin, he took on the role as main photographer in the family. I was forced to take photography seriously when I did my teacher training and was taught Black & White by Alan Chawner. Recording our twins’ development and our travels became a passion. I was pushed into Wildlife photography by Ray Raisbeck and Paul Metcalfe, Blackbutt Reserve Rangers. They needed quality photographs, but couldn’t pay for a photographer!
My biggest challenges are wrestling with the iMac and the complexity of CS3.
Main photographic interests:
Family, Wildlife, Landscapes, Seascapes.
Favourite photographic equipment: A no-nonsense, straight forward, can’t go wrong, Box Brownie.
I have owned Pentax, Olympus and Canon film cameras. My latest is a Canon 40D Despite the Canon preference, I have to plead guilty to giving our Granddaughter, Caitlin a Nikon!
Computer equipment: Macintosh and Photoshop
