Photography experience:
I embarked on my photographic journey after my father bought me my first camera in Singapore in 1965 enroute to Europe for a 6 month Kombi odyssey culminating in my eldest brother's wedding in Germany. Marriage and 3 children slowed down my photographic opportunities, but I always tried to take a few 'artistique' shots! In the last decade or so - free of my previous restrictions - marriage and kids - I have embraced photography once more and the Club with its competitions allow me even more opportunities to take photos (and socialise!). Travel is my other great passion - not sure if I travel to take photos or vice versa!

Main photographic interests:
Nature, macro, flowers, travel, people (still learning here)

Favourite photographic equipment: Changes every 5 years or so - I watch and listen to others -initially Pentax and Nikon SLR's now small digital cameras to learn on (currently a Panasonic Lumix) -will probably try a digital SLR soon - after I listen to everyone's comments.

Current position in Club: Secretary.
