Photography experience:
I've been in and around photography from a very young age. My father, being a cinema cameraman in both the Far East and Hollywood, was a great influence to me. Under his tutorage I became adept with both the camera and photographic processing.
While at university I struck up a friendship with a fellow student whose family
happened to be the leading funeral directors in Los Angeles at the time. Many of their wealthier clients came from the Italian community who paid handsomely for photographic coverage.
After university I went on to study aerial mapping with further training in the U. K. before being posted to the Middle East and later to
Nth. Borneo. On completion of my contract I returned to the Philippines where my family were in business and soon after started a small photographic company specializing in producing classy annual reports allowing me to travel extensively throughout South East Asia. I sold my business in 1968 and subsequently
migrated to Australia with my family.
